Development History

The forerunner of Song Gianh Joint Stock Corporation was Quang Trach Construction Material Production Enterprise, which was established on April 26, 1988. Enterprise’smission is  production and exploitationofconstruction materials for sale and service in the field of buildingand installing.

In November 1991, the Enterprise’s the technicalandeconomic feasibility study was officially approved by the People's Committee of Quang Binh,No. 561 / QD-UB of November 16, 1991 toassign the Enterprise to build a production line of microorganic fertilizer.

On December 15, 1992 Song Gianh Microorganic fertilizer Factory was established under Decision No. 39 / QD-UB of Quang Binh Department of Industry.

On 06/02/1996, People's Committee of Quang Binh Province issued Decision No. 137 / QD-UB renaming Song Gianh Microorganic fertilizer Factory to Song Gianh Fertilizer Company.

To facilitate the production and consumption of products nationwide, the company has opened many branches and affiliates from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Highlands region, in addition to expanding operations in the fields of producing, cultivating and processing aquatic products for export. Therefore, on February 16, 2001, the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province issued Decision No. 227 / QD-UB renaming Song Gianh Fertilizer Company into Song Gianh Company under the management of the Provincial People's Committee.

Implementing the policy of reorganizing and renewing state-owned enterprises, in early 2009 Song Gianh Company successfully equitized and officially operated as a Joint- stock corporation model on February 7, 2009.
